Anton Chekhov wrote his dark comedy “Uncle Vanya” in 1899. Broadway funnyman Christopher Durang in 2012 borrowed some names and themes from that classic to create his Tony Award-winning “Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.”
The Warehouse Theatre is staging both plays.
“Uncle Vanya” opens Jan. 29. “Vanya and Sonia” follows on March 18.
