We get a lot of chances to see Shakespeare in this area. In any given year, you can easily see four or five different productions, sometimes more. But it’s not every year that you can see all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays. In 90 minutes.

That’s the promise of “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged),” now playing at the Warehouse Theatre. It’s become a classic in itself, having been produced in Greenville as recently as last year.

But as with any Shakespearean production, the cast and director can make the familiar seem new. So even if you’ve seen “The Complete Works,” you haven’t seen this version. And you will want to see it.

Evan Harris, Andy Croston and Preston Taylor Stone star in a show that seems tailor-made for their personas.
