Tales as old as time call for friends and allies- when you need them most! In this workshop, we will use archetypes to analyze some of Shakespeare’s most famous female characters. We’ll meet these characters via monologue and scene work, playing around with the text in ways that will make the language feel familiar. Dramaturgical strategies meet actor tips and tricks for a workshop that’s part study session, part Real Housewives reunion show! Ophelia, Beatrice, and even Lady Macbeth will have truth bombs for any student, teacher, or actor who wants to play!
