WALK BACK FROM THE EDGE: A FORUM PLAY WITH THE APPLIED THEATRE CENTER
The public health crisis of the past two years has fanned the flames of another, preexisting, public health challenge: adolescent mental health. The Applied Theatre Center is using theatrical techniques to address the crisis. Join us on April 20th for a workshop reading of a new Forum play (a theatre form that integrates pre-written text, audience feedback, and improvisation to rehearse solutions to real-life problems) developed by local teens, parents, and community members with direct experience of the tragic consequences of the epidemic of declining teen mental health.
